1. RECOGNITION - 2017 District Classified Employees of the Year and 2017-18 District Teachers of the Year
Twin Rivers Unified School District (TRUSD) honored outstanding employees who represented TRUSD in the Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) Classified Employee of the Year and Teacher of the Year program.
* Robyn McKenzie was also selected to represent Sacramento County in the state selection process.
2017-18 District Teachers of the Year:
Laura Bingham, Kindergarten (Regency Park Elementary)
Michael Cook, Social Studies (Grant Union High School)
Early Childhood Education (ECE) Collaborative Task Force.
2. PRESENTATION/RECOGNITION/APPROVE - Early Childhood Education Collaborative Task Force Recommendations for the ECE Strategic Plan 2017-2022
Board provided with information regarding the recommendations of the ECE Task Force Committee for the Twin Rivers Early Childhood Education Strategic Plan 2017-2022. ECE Task Force members were also recognized.

3. RECOGNITION - Nutrition Services in Honor of National School Lunch Week (Oct. 9-13)
The Board of Trustees recognized the District's Nutrition Services staff for their dedication to bringing well-balanced and healthy meals to our students each and every day.
