1a. RECOGNITION - Secondary English Language Arts (ELA) Pilot Teachers
Teachers and Teachers on Special Assignments (TOSAs) were recognized for their time and efforts in leading the pilot and adoption process for English Language Arts in grades seven through 12 and Integrated Math.
1b. RECOGNITION - National School Counselor Month
In honor of National School Counseling Week, the Board of Trustees recognized school counselors for the tremendous impact they have in helping students achieve academic success, plan for careers, transition from high school to college, and overcoming challenges.

1c. RECOGNITION/ACTION - Top Scoring PSAT/SAT Students in the District
The Board of Trustees recognized top scoring PSAT/SAT students for their hard work and academic achievements. Through dedication and determination, they have shown great aptitude for success toward reaching their college readiness and graduation goals.
2. PRESENT - Data Update / Assessment and Accountability
A brief update of student-level data for the first half of the school year was presented. The data included elementary and secondary benchmark assessment tests, the California English Language Development Test (CELDT), projected graduation and dropout rates.

Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) pathway options for grades 6-12 and the process utilized for including stakeholder input was presented to the Board of Trustees.

4. AWARD - Contract / CCAA 7-12 Paint and Dry Rot Project
On January 12, 2017, TRUSD issued a public bid solicitation for the CCAA Paint and Dry Rot Project. Bids were opened on February 14, 2017, and appear on the summary link below. The low bidder, Horizon Brothers Painting, was awarded the contract.
