MORE BUSINESSES REOPENING SOON
I’m excited to relay that yesterday, the Governor determined that Counties may move at their own pace into "Stage 2 Reopening" of certain businesses, as long as they attest to, and meet certain benchmarks. Dr. Wooten, Public Health Officer, confirmed that San Diego County does qualify to meet the new metrics (outlined criteria in slide below). We are awaiting a formal announcement from the County Public Health Officer as to exactly when, although we expect it to be very soon.

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors met today to formalize the plan, and San Diego County dine-in restaurants and in-store retail may resume shortly-- perhaps as soon as tomorrow--with distancing and safety protocols in place. All businesses should review the revised County Public Health Order as soon as it is posted.

COUNTY TO SUBMIT PILOT PROGRAM PROPOSAL TO STATE FOR STAGE 3 REOPENING
The San Diego County Board of Supervisors will also be submitting a pilot plan to the State to propose the advancement of certain Stage 3 businesses and activities. The proposal includes the allowance of outdoor religious services, research labs, therapy groups, modified youth sports programs, personal services like salons and fitness (at 25% capacity and by appointment only), and HOA/Condominium pools at 25% capacity. This pilot plan needs to be considered and approved by the State before it can begin.
