Ahwatukee Foothills Festival of Lights is proud to present the 23rd Annual Wine & Beer Tasting Festival, taking place at Rawhide Western Town on Saturday, April 14 th , 2018 from 6:30-10:30 pm, featuring samplings of assorted wines, local craft beers and delectable appetizers from East Valley restaurants. Additionally, the band “Tripwire” will provide for dancing under the stars and there will be line dancing by Carrie, a large online auction, pay spirits bar and much more.
Tickets are $50 in advance and available for purchase on www.FOLAZ.org and the 3 Safeway stores in Ahwatukee. At the door, tickets are $60, if available. A special 6 Shooter Package offers 6 tickets for $240 which is a savings of $10 per ticket off the advance purchase ticket price.
Money raised from the Wine & Beer Tasting Festival is used to pay for the Million White Lights display along Chandler Boulevard during the holiday season. In addition, several charities selected by the organization will be the recipients of a portion of the proceeds donated at the end of the year. Crews recently painted the future 40th Street traffic interchange in Ahwatukee a desert earth-tone base paint, which will be used throughout the 22-mile corridor, along with a reddish accent color resembling an ocotillo flower on the retaining walls, abutments and bridge barriers.
