Building Parent Leadership
The Building Parent Leadership Manual was created by Georgia Department of Education to assist parent leaders in organizing, planning, and implementing events, activities, and outreach programs to promote parent leadership activities in schools and communities.
Parent Centers can use this tool as a framework for development of parent leadership training and to create handouts, flyers, and/or brochures to promote parent participation.
Outcome: Enhancing your center's ability to provide parents with the knowledge and skills needed to partner to improve outcomes for their children.
