11 Things Youth Need to Do to Run Their Own IEP Meetings

Parent centers all are now charged with reaching youth with resources, training, and support related to transition and self-advocacy. The ChoiceMaker Series is an evidence-based curriculum that includes some great training materials on Self-Directed IEPs - Teacher's Manual and Student Workbook. Two short videos are also available that can be inserted into your own trainings:  Self-Directed IEP in Action  (7 minutes) and Self-Directed IEP (17 minutes). The curriculum and videos focus on the 11 things youth need to know and do to run their own IEP meetings.
