NTN-Bower Celebrates 50 Years
MAEDCO Executive Director, Kim Pierce presented a commemorative plaque to NTN President, Mr. Kamo in recognition of their 50th anniversary.
NTN celebrated by hosting an Open House on October 10. Over 1300 people attended. Additionally, Mayor Mike Inman announced that he has proclaimed November 01, 2015 as 
NTN-Bower Corporation day. 

DCEO Business Community Event 

On October 27 Jim Schultz, Director, Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO), visited Macomb and discussed the challenges facing Illinois' business climate. He also  provided an update on DCEO's strategies and initiatives to bring business back to Illinois. Over 25 business and community leaders from McDonough, Hancock and Fulton Counties were in attendance. The event was  co-hosted by MAEDCO and NTN-Bower. 


Open House... for NEW! SRC Welding Lab - Macomb
In celebration of manufacturing, MAEDCO collaborated with Spoon River College and held an open house on October 29 to introduce the new welding lab located on the Macomb campus. The SRC welding program offers a welding operator certificate that can be completed in one year or less. Additionally, SRC is partnering with district high schools to offer the certificate program to interested high school students. For more information visit www.src.edu  

Welcome... Caitlin Brown
In October, MAEDCO welcomed Caitlin Brown as its Administrative Assistant. Caitlin is originally from Cuba, IL and a graduate of Spoon River College. She previously worked in Cedar Rapids for Vanguard Appraisals and is happy to be back in Illinois.
