 All Saints Sunday

November 2

Pastor Sarah will preach this Sunday, and Pastor Kurt will preside.

The Bible reading this week is
1 Timothy 6:6-12.
Today marks the first installment in our two part stewardship series titled "Be Rich." Even though we are rich compared to many in our world, we still yearn to be rich based on our societal standards. That quest leads to harmful desires. We will hear about how the Apostle Paul candidly addressed Timothy, his younger counterpart, on how the quest to "be rich" can lead a person away from God and to a life lived only for our self. The good news is how Paul encourages all of us to be ever-aware of God's goodness and to "be rich" in generous and faithful living.
