Topeka - The Kansas office of the National Federation of Independent Business, the state's leading small business association, has endorsed Sam Brownback and Jeff Colyer in their campaign for governor and lieutenant governor.

"The first goal of our Road Map for Kansas is to increase private sector jobs. Small businesses are the engine that makes our economy go. Jeff and I will work every day to create an environment in Kansas that small businesses can flourish in and create jobs that provide a meaningful increase in income and opportunity for Kansas families. We are honored to have their support," Sen. Brownback said.

Topeka - U.S. Senator Sam Brownback and State Senator Jeff Colyer, MD, Republican Nominee for Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Kansas, are traveling Kansas to fulfill their commitment to visit all 105 Kansas counties by Election Day, November 2nd. Dr. Colyer is making campaign stops today and tomorrow in 12 Kansas counties.

"First as the state's Kansas Agriculture Secretary and then as U.S. Senator for our state, I traveled our great state many times to meet with my fellow Kansans to talk with them about issues and concerns facing their communities and our great state. I found those face to face meetings far outweighed any other constituent outreach. It gave me the opportunity to learn firsthand what was on the minds of Kansans," Sen. Brownback said.
