JCRC Hosts Frisco ISD Meeting for
Parents of Jewish Children
In April, the JCRC hosted a meeting for more than thirty Jewish parents to meet with leadership from Frisco ISD (FISD). Speakers included Bryan Dodson, Vice President of the FISD board of trustees, Trustee Steven Noskin – who is Jewish - and Trustee Debbie Gillespie. Read more.. .
JCRC Launches New Phase of
Education Initiative
As part of its mission which includes the Jewish value of “Tikkun Olam”, or repairing the world, the JCRC has focused on ways to alleviate poverty in the Dallas area and how to work with other community stakeholders to help break the cycle of poverty.

JCRC Hosts New Catholic Bishops
In May, the JCRC coordinated with the Catholic Diocese of Dallas to bring the new Catholic Bishops to a meeting at the Federation. This was the first official meeting between the new Bishops, the Most Reverend Edward J. Burns and the Most Reverend Gregory Kelly, and Dallas Jewish community leadership. Read more...
Upcoming Events and Programs
December 3 – JCRC Education Initiative Community Service Opportunity
Volunteer with the JCRC to assemble early education kits. These kits include: take-home books, puzzles, or games that encourage parent engagement in the early learning skills taught in the classroom. The JCRC is partnering with Child Care Group  to provide this opportunity. All ages are welcome to participate. Please note that no child care will be provided . Register here.

December 9 – Community Teen Havdalah
The JCRC is excited to announce a Community Teen Havdalah (for 9th-12th graders) featuring musicians Eric & Happie. The evening's program will also include an Israel advocacy and training led by young adult professional Israel educators titled Israel on Campus: A Reality Check.
