Blossom Point Research Facility Update Meeting Scheduled for Oct. 3

The annual Blossom Point Research Facility Community Update Meeting will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 3 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express (6860 Crain Highway, La Plata).

Topics for this year's meeting include an update on mission operations, Fiscal Year 2012 economic impact, completion of the Blossom Point Research Facility Joint Land Use Study and the six study recommendations, a deer hunt on the Facility Dec. 8 that will be open to the public by lottery.
