Library hosts Community Health Fair Saturday, September 23, 12-4 p.m.
Local health care providers and agencies will provide free screenings and demonstrations  for the whole family
FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA,  September 1, 2017 - Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRRL) is hosting a Community Health Fair  at Salem Church Branch on Saturday, September 23, 12-4 p.m. Representatives from local health care providers and agencies will be available to discuss their services and offer health screenings, demonstrations, activities, free take-home goodies, and tips and information on a wide range of topics from exercise to nutrition to stress reduction. Attendees can also enter to win a door prize provided by the library.

Free screenings include:

Free HIV rapid screenings (results in 20 minutes) provided by  Fredericksburg Area HIV/AIDS Support Services (FAHASS)

Diabetes screenings and risk assessments provided by Mary Washington Healthcare

Hearing screenings provided by Advanced Hearing Group
