Planning is well underway for the big night.  This year will carry an intimate, upscale feel and include: signature drinks, ice sculptures, TLC branding throughout the room, designated wait staff, red carpet entry with photos for a paparazzi experience, a separate VIP room that overlooks the club, great food and of course the best DJ in town!

We will redefine the experience so everyone knows
Travel Leaders Corporate as a Departure from the Ordinary!

Carry-On Bag Fees

Last week, Las Vegas-based Allegiant Air became the second airline to charge fees for carry-on bags stored in overhead bins, following Spirit Airlines' lead.  Allegiant's new policy means passengers cannot avoid paying the airline a fee for their bags unless all their belongings can fit under the seat in front of them.

The airline is charging between $10 and $35, depending on the flight and whether payment is made online ahead of their flight or at the airport.  Could coin operated lavatories be far behind?

Maximize your Travel Down-Time

Business travelers are always looking for ways to become more productive while on the road.  Simple steps such as becoming a preferred airline, hotel and car rental customer can help to maximize time by providing priority boarding and expediting check-in at hotel and rental car counters.  Other tips include:

Use your Apps.  Use apps that help find places to eat, provide directions or enable check-ins for flights.  Make sure you have Travel Leaders Beacon App to receive flight delay notification and re-accommodation information.

Make Calls While in a Taxi or Flight Delay.  Reply to e-mails, make phone calls, review materials, confirm appointments or draft business correspondence.

Use Cellphone as a Camera.  Take a picture of your hotel room number, your rental car and license plate.  In a parking garage, take a picture of the floor name or number and that of the space.
