Human Services has posted the following Solicitation RFP 07-18 for Pennsylvania receives funding through the Child Care and Development and Block Grant (“CCDBG”) to support low-income working families’ access to high-quality child care.

While providing access to health care is a key step toward keeping individuals healthy, social and environmental factors, known as social determinants of health, often decrease the likelihood of people seeking the care they need.

Department of Human Services (DHS) Secretary Teresa Miller joined legislators, stakeholders, advocates, and Child Care Consultants, Inc. of York County to announce the opening of regional Early Learning Resource Centers (ELRCs). Developed in response to stakeholder feedback, the ELRCs consolidate the work of Child Care Information Service Agencies and the Regional Keys to create an enhanced resource and referral system for families seeking early learning services and supports.

15. PA-Issued Reduced Fare Transit ID Cards No Longer Accepted for Travel
With the full transition of the SEPTA Key far system , starting October 1st, PA issued Reduced Transit Fare ID Cards will not be valid for travel on Septa. The Septa Key Senior Fare Card (photo ID) will be the only valid form of ID.
