SGMP Sacramento Chapter

Chapter Meeting: September 14, 2017
Please note the new location: Delta King Hotel, Old Sacramento
Guest speaker MaryAnne Bobrow, CMP, Bobrow Associates, will share her insights for Bullets, Bad Guys, Fire, and Brimstone: Risks in a Changing World. Disruptive forces may be beyond our control, but defining the role of the meeting or event organizers in assuring that their participants are informed and as safe as possible is not. We can't prevent every risk scenario, but shouldn't we prepare for threats even as we hope they never occur?
Where and how does the meeting professional engage in the process to ensure maximum participant safety?  Bullets, Bad Guys, Fire, and Brimstone: Risks in a Changing World guides chapter members through steps in creating their own customized action plan depending on a variety of components that comprise the individual event.
This session has been approved for contact hour credit in the "Logistics" core competency.  Please register via the chapter's website:
NOTE: anyone parking in a City parking garage will receive a $5 credit.  Bring your garage ticket for validation.
