This week at BFCCPS:
January 7, 2015

Dear BFCCPS Community,

Happy New Year!  I hope that you have all enjoyed a nice, relaxing holiday break, and are ready to kick off 2015!  I was so excited to return to school to the wonderful smiling, all be it freezing faces, of our students on Monday

At the end of last year, the BFCCPS Board of Trustees surveyed the community, and many of you took the time to provide feedback on what is working, and what could use improvement at BFCCPS.  One of the items that was consistently mentioned was the Pink Sheet.

The feedback we received was that it was difficult to read, that it was not organized well, and was not useful to support parents in their role as the primary educator of their children.  We have been working hard to develop a new and improved "Pink Sheet".  We thought it would be fitting to begin the new year with a new and improved layout for our weekly newsletter.

It is my hope that this new, interactive format will give community members the ability to better keep track of the many activities that are happening at BFCCPS, and provide you with live links to more information, registrations forms, and flyers for the activities you are interested in.  This layout also allows you to directly import calendar information into your iCal or Google Calendar apps!

I truly appreciate the feedback community members have provided in the past on different aspects of BFCCPS, and would like to encourage you to continue to let me know what you think!

Wishing you all a wonderful week!

Sincerely,

Heather Zolnowski
Head of School
