Mark 3:20-35
[Jesus went home;] 20 and the crowd came together again, so that [Jesus and the disciples] could not even eat. 21 When his family heard it, they went out to restrain him, for people were saying, "He has gone out of his mind." 22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, "He has Beelzebul, and by the ruler of the demons he casts out demons." 23 And he called them to him, and spoke to them in parables, "How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. Join Pastor Nate and Amanda Sacchitello for "Hymn Happy Hour." Sundays 10-11, starting next week, 6/17. We will travel through the church year, sing some familiar (and lesser known) hymns, and learn the stories of how they came to be written. Summer Small Groups
June 13th-August 22nd

STAY CONNECTED THIS SUMMER

Try something new this summer, as Holy Cross pilots a new way of doing small groups.

We'll be discussing Adam Hamilton's book Half Truths: God Helps Those Who Help Themselves And Other Things the Bible Doesn't Say.

A few things you need to know:
  1. Each lesson will stand on its own. You do not have to commit to the whole series of 6 lessons.
  2. The lessons will be held every other week ,with NO lessons during the week of July 4th.
  3. Each session will be held twice in the same week, so you can chose a day that is better for you. Both groups will run from 7-8:30 p.m.
  4. Registration is for individual lessons not the whole session-unless you want to, of course! Starting Sunday, June 3rd, a registration form will be available. You can register for a lesson as late as the Sunday before that lesson.
  5. These are dessert sessions that will have different hosts and facilitators each week, rather than meeting at the same place with the same facilitator. Registration helps hosts know how many to expect.

Holy Cross will provide the books for everyone who registers.

Questions? Contact Pastor Nathan (404.731.7466), Deaconess Amanda (762.728.0730), or Kathi Wilson (770.5963177) to find out more.
