Youth Voices & Advocacy 2015

On Saturday, November 7th, more than 200 Oakland County youth, community leaders, legislators, law enforcement officials, mental health experts, and advocates came together at the Emagine Theater in Royal Oak for Youth Voices & Advocacy 2015. Teens participated in dialog about topics they said were most important to them - social pressures, mental health, and discrimination - and learned from experts how to effectively advocate for change within their own communities.

This event was co-sponsored by the ACHC and Royal Oak Community Coalition.
