We're excited to announce that Community Servings has expanded to serve Worcester and started delivering nutritious meals to homebound individuals battling illness in the city. We made our first deliveries last week on Tuesday, September 25.

"It can be extremely difficult for individuals to cook for themselves and their families while battling severe illness, and oftentimes the ability to have access to nutritious meals is the difference between remaining at home with family and entering a hospital" said David Waters, CEO. 

Community Servings is the only organization in New England that specializes in the home delivery of medically tailored, culturally appropriate meals to those battling critical and chronic illness. Each day, Community Servings' staff and volunteers prepare, package and deliver lunch, dinner and a snack for 775 individuals and families across 215 square miles (18 cities) throughout Massachusetts. 

 

It's almost time for Pie in the Sky, Community Servings' annual Thanksgiving fundraiser - and this year we're celebrating our 20th Anniversary! Restaurants, caterers and bakers across Massachusetts are generously donating 15,000 pies, and we need your help to sell, sell, sell! Most importantly, each $25 pie sold will feed one of our 775 clients for an entire week.
