Important Reminder: To Ensure Quality and Compliance, Proposal Submission Deadlines Are Critical
Proposal preparation takes considerable time and effort. To ensure quality and compliance, all administrative items are required in their final version (placeholders for the final science are accepted) by 12 p.m. five business days before the sponsor deadline. The proposal in its final form for submission to the sponsor (including the final science) is due by 12 p.m. two business days before the sponsor deadline. Please note the five-day, two-day policy applies to ALL activity that is submitted to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs for review (proposals, progress reports, letters of intent, subawards, etc.). Interdisciplinary Research Group Pilot Grant Program
The Office of Research and Economic Development is sponsoring a pilot program to stimulate the creation of interdisciplinary research groups around any topic that is likely to be supported by significant future federal and private funding. Existing interdisciplinary groups may also apply. ORED will provide a $50,000 grant, which must be matched, to the team submitting the strongest proposal. The funds, totaling $100,000, must be used to fund competitive awards that support collaborative interdisciplinary research projects that are designed to generate preliminary data for subsequent applications for substantial federal or private funding. For assistance in forming an interdisciplinary research group, contact the Research Development team at res-dev@rutgers.edu . Read more here .

The Grant Process includes tutorials on how to find funding, proposal development, compliance, submission, award management, and completion. We invite you to visit the site and send feedback.
