Blessing of the Animals worship service this Sunday, August 23rd.
All kinds of animals (and their humans) are invited to join us: real pets, stuffed animals,and photographs of the wild animals you love. Join us for worship at 10:30 as we celebrate all the blessings our animals bring to us, and to the world!
Her second stop:
Into the woods! That's right: rabbits have heard that the deadline to register for our
All-Church Retreat at Camp Monte Toyon, September 19-20, is fast approaching! We have 20 spots left for this year's retreat, but we need your completed registration form in the church office no later than Friday, September 4th.

Youth Group News: Please note change of start date for youth group this fall!
Our junior youth group is on summer break, but we'll be starting again on Sunday, October 4th, and youth ages 11 to 14 are invited to join us! Please note that this year, youth group will be meeting on the first and third Sunday of each month, at 9:00 a.m., in the Youth Room! Camp Monte Toyon in Aptos
Mark your calendar and plan to join us for a very special retreat in the beautiful redwoods of Monte Toyon Camp and Conference Center!
We'll have activities for kids and adults, three shared meals in the camp dining hall, campfires, songs, and lots of time for rest, renewal, and connecting with friends. We have room for just 50 people this year, so
please register
as soon as you can, and let us know you'll be joining us!

Sunday, August 23rd: Blessing of the Animals worship celebration!
Bring your favorite animal (real, stuffed, or in a
photograph!) to receive a blessing, and to give thanks
for all the joy our animals bring us all year long!
Tuesday, September 1st: Tuesday Crafternoons Begin!
Adults and kids of all ages are invited to bring
any craft or handwork project you enjoy, and join us for a relaxing afternoon of crafting. If you don't have a project to work on, no problem: we'll provide some crafting supplies each week, along with tea and hot cocoa. Everyone is welcome, so bring your neighbors and friends!
We'll be in the FiresideLounge, every Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:00.
Saturday, September 12th: Beach Cleanup at Moran Lake State Beach
Join us at 10 a.m. for friends, fun, and care for the earth!
Sunday, September 27: All-Church Barbecue and Sunday-School Kickoff
Join us for worship at 10:30 followed by a barbecue
lunch for everyone. We'll have games, a bounce house,
great food--and lots of time to visit with friends new and
old as we all return from our summer adventures!
