for our adopted 3rd grade class at 
Stepstone Academy


ADOPT-A-FAMILY HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE 
Each child's family in our adopted 3rd grade class has provided us with a "Holiday Wish List." This list includes one gift for each member of their family. If you would like to "Adopt-a-Family" and complete their wish list, contact Shani Kadis. All family gifts will need to be received by Monday, December 8.

WINTER CLOTHING COLLECTION

We will be collecting warm clothes during the months of November and December and will have a collection bin in the Gross Atrium. Our 3rd grade class has asked for coats, sweatshirts, scarves, ha coats, sweatshirts, scarves, hats, and gloves. coats, sweatshirts, scarves, hats, and gloves. The sizes should range from Children 7-12 or Youth Medium and Large and should be new or gently used.

Sisterhood Lunch & Learn:  
Wine, Women & Song
Tuesday, December 9 * noon

featuring our favorite Master Gardener from the Ashtabula County Extension Agency, Maxine Painter.

Enjoy a demonstration and tasting of hard ciders, beer and wine just in time for Hanukkah! Maxine will explain how to ferment and distill apple juice to
make hard cider, grape juice to make wine and what ingredients are required to craft beer.

Winter Vacation Camp    

December 29, 30 & 31 

9 am -11:30 am

 

For preschoolers ages 3-5. 

 

Have fun with friends over winter vacation. Activities include music and movement, parachute, games, cooking, stories, snack and art. Click here to register by December 15.  Emergency paperwork must be filled out and returned to Risa Roth.

 

Cost: $36 for 3 days, $30 for 2 days, $18 for 1 day

 

TzedakahTuesday

 

Join us for Tzedakah Tuesday (it's not too late even though it's Wednesday). For the last 7 weeks of 2014, a new question will be posted on our homepage and our Facebook page, asking congregants and friends to share their personal stories, values and priorities about giving. This week's question is: IF I HAD $100,000 TO DONATE TO THE SHUL, I WOULD WANT IT SPENT ON...Answer for yourself and see how others responded on the Tzedakah Tuesday webpage.

Lunch will be served. FREE! Bring a canned good to donate.

Park Synagogue Social Hall. Need a ride from Sunday school? Ask Dana.

Hanukkah games, cookie decorating and tzedakah project. 

Jr. Kadima is B'nai Jeshurun's youth group for 4th and 5th graders and their Jewish friends.

Cleveland Hillel Foundation is coordinating a paid, ten week, summer internship program for Jewish college students (ages 18-22) who will be juniors and seniors at an accredited college. Students have the opportunity to be hired for internships, based on skills and interests, at local businesses and non-profits. An info night will be held Monday, December 22, 7:00 pm at the Jewish Federation For more information and application or contact Michelle Winograd.
