Swab a Cheek, Save a Life

Sunday, October 26 *11:00 am- 1:00 pm

 

A simple cheek swab is all it takes to determine if you are a match for a patient in need. If you are between the ages of 18 and 60 and in general good health, you are likely eligible. This drive will benefit patients suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, and other types of blood cancer to find life-saving donors for stem cell and marrow transplants. The entire registration process takes only 5 minutes!

B'nai Jeshurun Congregation and AIPAC invite you to hear Aaron David Miller, Vice President, New Initiatives, Distinguished Scholar Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Mr. Miller served for two decades in the Department of State as an analyst, negotiator and advisor on Middle Eastern issues. Shalom Baby at Gross Schechter Day School - A joint program with Alexandria School for Nannies' Founder, Carolyn Stulberg, for expectant parents. Tuesdays November 4 - December 16 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm. Independent sessions will include prenatal information through a Jewish lens, kosher snacks and time to socialize. After the babies are born, there will be a reunion session.
