Tikkun Leil Shavuot

Saturday, May 23

Our annual Tikkun Leil Shavuot (all night study session) is more diverse than ever this year featuring 30 presenters all in one event. Leaders include 13 Rabbis, 2 Cantors, Lawyers, Jewish Educators, Day School Headmasters, Community Activists and Professionals, a Doctor and a Judge!

The program starts Saturday night, May 23, 2015 at 7:30 p.m., continues through the night, culminating Sunday morning with a sunrise Kabbalistic wedding ceremony and prayer services. It is the traditional way to celebrate the Shavuot Festival - reenacting the Israelites anticipating receiving the Torah at Mt Sinai.

The program is FREE and OPEN to the COMMUNITY. Participants can attend one or more sessions or stay 'til sunrise services. Each 45 minute slot offers choices of sessions covering an array of themes. No prior knowledge is needed of text, topics or Hebrew.
