| Greetings!
Howdy, as some of you know, I have a job that takes me out on the road quite a bit. I provide various production services at about 200 rodeo performances a year. That means I see all kinds of venues, personnel, other stock contractors and their livestock. Yes, the venues like Pendleton, Denver, San Angelo and Omaha have their own bigger then life personalities, regardless of contractor. But, in my professional opionion having seen so many diverse situations, I have to say, Bailey Rodeo is as professional run and stocked as most - if not far better! That's why I am proud of the product, want to stay in touch and keep you informed about the Ranch and Rodeo Company. Enjoy,
LB Bailey

Looking Back
2011 NFR in Las Vegas!
Having had stock selected to every NFR since Bailey got his prca card, Bailey Rodeo was again selected to bring livestock to the recent 2011 National Finals Rodeo. C15 Frosty put on a show starting the first performance with Jacob O'Mara.

The 6th performance Seth Glause took hold and was there right before the whistle taking home a fat check for the combined bull and rider score of 86.50.
Frosty is far from the rankest bad boy in the Bailey back pens, but if ridden he is a guaranteed check always scoring 85pts or higher. This year, in 2012, after multiple outs in Denver and Fort Worth's prca rodeo's he is at 100% buckoff with a 21.6 mark out average. Pretty good stats for a cowboy friendly bull.

2011 Notables
Probably the most notable for me was the number of contestants that were at Bailey Rodeos. Where there is a decline in overal rough stock membership in general and prca rodeos are becoming a more rare event, Bailey Rodeo's have seen a steady hold if not increase in rough stock entries. Another contractor asked me, how did you get that many to actually enter and then show up? That's taken as a compliment whereas any more it can be so common to have only a handful horse riders or bullriders actully enter a rodeo in the late Summer months. Cowboy's and committee's both know that the hard work has been invested in bringing in an even pen of livestock that is strong but fair for everyone.

- Strong City, KS had a positive turn out with very few if any actual turnouts.
- Hamel, MN is one of the few rodeos that I have seen that has done very well with the permit section adding extra contestants to the pool of riders.
- You would think Dalhart, TX XIT would be sucking dust off of prairie circuit heavy hitters that weekend, Abilene, KS & Phillipsburg, KS but not so. There were (14) Bareback with 7 actually out on Saturday night, (35) Saddle Broncs and (41) Bullriders. NFR and top 20 cowboys were entered and add that to their XIT Ranch Bronc riding and there was a lot of rough stock action making it a very very good prca event to attend. A tribute to both the contractor and the committee for making that event a featured event to now attend.
- Tulsa State Fair again seen an increase in contestant entries.

Upcoming Events
The 13th annual Phil Gardenhire PRCA Rodeo is now the Poteau Frontier Rodeo.
The name isn't the only change, the dates are now May 25-26. Fort Smith has graciously allowed Poteau to piggy back onto that weekend with the intention that it will benefit not only Fort Smith and Poteau's events but Claremore as well. Even though the name has changed the event will still memorialize the original namesake of the event nightly. Bailey Rodeo has been the stock contractor for this very good rodeo since it's inception in 2000 and has been the primary producer of the event since 2008. We welcome everyone to come and enjoy what will be an outstanding pro rodeo this year in one of the most beautiful and hospitable parts of Oklahoma.
This year marks the 75th anniversary for The Flint Hills PRCA Rodeo in Strong City, KS. It is always amazing to see a town the size of Imboden, Ark with it's population of 900 jam the stands full. Strong City boasts a population of about 500+ and they are planning to have an enormous and entertaining Jubilee.
