Join Glenmont Abbey Village tomorrow for the  Fair Housing 50th Anniversary Breakfast Panel.  Albany's community leaders are coming together to celebrate and discuss the  50th  anniversary of the Fair Housing Act. Panelists will be discussing the importance of this historical act, how Fair Housing impacts the Capital District, current legislation regarding Fair Housing, and the future of the act. Panelists included: New York State Assemblywoman Patricia  Fahy Earl T. Redding, Esq. Michael J. Uccellini, CEO of United Group of Companies and President of IREM  Chapter 93 ... and other county representatives and industry professionals. 7:30am breakfast, 8am panel discussion, This is a FREE event, click here to register.

The annual  Bethlehem Business Women  Tag Sale will be held Saturday, April 21, from 8am-1pm at the Delmar Reformed Church . This is their major fundraiser for the Bethlehem Business Women Scholarship Fund, which awards  scholarships to graduating Seniors (# of scholarships depends on amount of funds raised). Patriot Flight's next flight will be April 28, which will include approximately 50 Veterans visiting Washington DC to visit their War Memorials. Help raise funds for the flight by supporting their Mission Book - it  contains photos, Veterans' stories, Veterans 'in memoriam' and well wishes.  The book is presented as  a token of appreciation to the Veterans, Guardians and Patriots at the Flight Day Send-Off Ceremony. Join elected officials, planners, economic developers, grant professionals and more for the CDRPC Spring Community and Economic Development Workshop at HVCC TEC-SMART in Malta, NY on April 26. CEG's Andrew Kennedy will lead a discussion called "Unpacking Amazon: Why the Capital Region had a compelling case for HQ2 and what we've learned."  In addition there will be sessions featuring local and national experts in planning and economic development.
