10 Things to Know About Using
Paid Family Leave

presented by

In 2016, New York State passed a Paid Family Leave (PFL) law that provides partial income replacement and job protection while workers are on leave for covered reasons. Employees will be able to access New York paid family leave benefits beginning in January of 2018. Employers are required to purchase a PFL insurance policy or self-insure. The income replacement will be fully funded by mandatory employee payroll deductions that were permitted to begin on July 1, 2017.

Your employees may have many questions about how they can use this new benefit. Our friends at ShelterPoint have put together this handy list of 10 things your employees should know about using New York Paid Family Leave.

Click HERE for the list and the full article.

Art on the Rail Trail (ART) is a new initiative designed to bring public art installations to the
Albany County Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail.

This new committee of the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy is a collaboration between town residents, local non-profits, with town, county and Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce representation. The mural will be painted on the side wall of the town-owned building located at the intersection of the rail trail and Adams St.

Individuals: donate/volunteer,  visit their website or connect on social media
Businesses:  sponsor, see packet here
