MICROENTERPRISE GRANT  
Applications Now Available Online

The Town of Bethlehem was successful in its application to the New York State Office of Homes and Community Renewal for the renewal of the Microenterprise Grant Program.  The Town will receive $200,000 to provide grants to eligible Microenterprises, emerging, and existing businesses that want to locate in or expand within the Town of Bethlehem.  It is anticipated that a minimum of ten (10) businesses will be assisted with the awarded grant funds.  Grant awards will range from $5,000 to $35,000 and can be used to purchase inventory, machinery, equipment, furniture, fixtures and to meet working capital needs. 

Start-up or existing businesses interested in learning more about the Microenterprise Grant Program and the application process and missed the information session, may view the Microenterprise Grant Presentation.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED (age 16 or older) for the PLAYGROUND BUILD at Bethlehem Town Hall on Saturday, May 6 - "I Love My Park Day" -- from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (2 shifts available). Nominating petition forms and informational packets are available at the library information desk for candidates interested in serving on the Bethlehem Public Library board of trustees. One seat with a term of five years is up for vote. Incumbent and board president Mary Redmond will be seeking re-election. Candidates must reside within Central School District No. 6 of the towns of Bethlehem and New Scotland, and petitions must contain at least 52 signatures of voters from the district. Petitions must be filed with the District Clerk, Bethlehem Central High School, 700 Delaware Avenue, by 4:30 p.m. on 4/17/17.
