CHAMBER NEWS AND EVENTS

We had an amazing time yesterday at the Tri-City Valley Cats game with our chamber members and members from the Colonie chamber! Although the Tri-City Valley Cats ultimately lost 6-4, they opened the scoring with a home run in the second inning and they certainly kept fans on the edges of their seats.
The weather was perfect, we received VIP treatment in the Diamond Club box seats, and we enjoyed making new connections. Click HERE for the photos.
Chamber employee Liz Gemlick manned the table after set-up by Erica Hogan, and was later joined by Foundry Fitness reps who distributed free class passes and provided body fat measurements.
The weather was picture perfect Sunday for Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy's Summer Festival at Indian Ladder Farm! It was no surprise that the turnout was fantastic for such a great event.

at the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs in Delmar and will end August 5 at the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. The purpose is to bring attention to the fact that in NYS,
when individuals with disabilities who reside in residential facilities or group homes are physically/sexually assaulted, or die a suspicious death due to abuse and neglect, in most cases, 911 is not called. NYS law directs all State and private providers to call the Justice Center when mandated reporters witness crimes against the disabled - therefore, 911 is not dispatched
evidence is not collected, prosecution does not ensue, and the abuser continues to abuse. Please consider making a personal donation of $9.11 via their website, or sponsoring as a business.
