HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold this past weekend to ring in the New Year at Bethlehem First Night!  At left, The Ice Man and his crew assembled the ice sculpture at Four Corners.  At right, the completed ice sculpture proudly stands in front of the clock tower (photo courtesy of Michael Hallisey, Spotlight News).

Community Care Physicians, P.C. (CCP) and CapitalCare Medical Group, LLC announced they have consolidated to form one integrated, multispecialty medical group. The consolidated group improves access and enhances the patient experience for the greater Capital Region. CapitalCare practices will function as divisions of Community Care Physicians. The skating rink at the Town of Bethlehem Elm Avenue Park is OPEN! It will remain open as long as the ice is at least 4" thick with a good surface.  The rink is open daily (weather permitting) until 10pm when the GREEN flag is flying. If the RED flag is flying the rink is CLOSED for your safety. You may also call 518-439-4955 option 3, then option 2 for current conditions. The lights are on timers.  Please remember:
1) All skaters participate at their own risk. It is advised to have a cell phone with you in case of emergency and an Ice Guard is not on duty; 2)  Hockey is permitted on the WEST end of the cove ONLY; and 3)  Maps and skating rink rules are posted around the Warming Area.

O'Slattery's Irish Restaurant & Pub has  lots of fun things in store for 2018!  Starting in February we will host Paint and Sip every second Monday of the month.  Every Tuesday we have DJ Trivia from 7-9. A new 20 week league is starting, so grab those friends you promised you'd start hanging out with in the New Year and start earning points towards weekly and final prizes!  Every Wednesday we have a Dart League. Open to all, starts at 8pm, with live music and prizes!  Wednesday-Saturday, every week, we have live music. Come out and show our local musicians some love!  And Sundays we Brunch, from 10am-1pm.  We look forward to another year with you all!

They recently announced they will be  installing the last 2 rooms out of 7 total rooms next week, and in 2018 Dr. Fei (Dr. Henry's wife) will join the practice She will start part-time and transition into full-time soon, and they will  also add 2 more staff members to support the expansion. All these efforts are made to accommodate more patients joining their dental family and cut down on appointment wait time.
