Community Garden Plots Available

First Come, First ServedCommunity Gardens

Take advantage of the new Blue Springs Community Garden that are available for planting now. The Community Gardens are located in Central Park, at the corner of Walnut and 10th Streets. This is a great way to grow your own vegetables and herbs, and get some exercise with your friends and neighbors.  For just $50 a season, you can 'reap what you sow' from March 17 until October 31.  Plots may be shared by more than one person/family.

The Kansas City Master Gardeners will be conducting periodic classes for anyone interested in learning more about the gardening process. A limited number of 10' x 10' spots are still available on a first come, first served basis.  To claim your spot, visit the Parks & Recreation Department at your earliest convenience so you don't lose out of this fun, educational, and family oriented activity.
