We are currently offering free membership in our Responsible Recycler program for any business to join.  You get free electronic recycling, free pickup, free data destruction of your important data (we offer for a small fee certified destruction including serial number tracking of hard drives as well).  Best of all besides it is free, as of 1/2/12 Indiana has passed a law making it illegal to dump any electronics in a landfill.  This service may even be something your company is currently paying for.

Last year BDE paid out over $310,000 to low income workers that were all on some type of assistance program and now are employed and working.  All we need is your old electronics that are sitting in your businesses that need a new home.  You are welcome to contact me directly to setup a tour or we can come to you.  Either way pleas consider utilizing our services and help us create employment opportunities as well as help "Green" the Michiana area.

About BDE
BDE started as a program of the Council for World-Class Communities in 2003.  In 2009 BDE became its own 501c3 organizations.  The mission of the program when started was to provide a computer to any family with children in school that did not have one.  Over the last 9 years BDE has donated over 2700 computers to families.  In 2010 BDE expanded its operations to include IT services for non-profit organizations, our eCycling and eThrift Store.  BDE's eThrift store provides a reuse option for electronics that still have a useful life.  If electronics are deemed unusable they then go to the eCycling operation where they are dismantled and turned back into raw materials.  Last year BDE diverted over 1,000,000 lbs of electronics that may have ended up in landfills.

Please consider utilizing our services with your help we can create many new jobs in our communities.

Sincerely,

Doug Chapman
