Introduction

During the 2008 and 2010 campaign season Tim Utz and volunteers of CCCR (Tim Utz for House) noticed many citizens looking for informaiton and asking many questions on what government is up to. Seeing a need CCCR-Education was created as an extension of Tim Utz for House to provide a broad range of news, information and resources to citizens. The concept is education, providing truthful as possible information on citizenship, history, and government. CCCR-Education is here providing the connections; the responsibility is yours as individuals to take advantage and learn, empower individuals, and take rightful Constitutional authority over government.

Price Gouging

Fridley Style

In February the Fridley city Council voted to increase the rental inspection fees an average of over 25% for 2011 the second increase in just 2 years. The excuse for a 25% plus increase is covering the cost of inspections and becoming comparable to surrounding municipalities.

Just two comments on the excuses given; If the city needs to adjust the fees 25% someone in the city needs to claim unemployment for having no clue the cost to enforce rental ordinances up front. The second thought is why raise costs to compete with adjoining municipalities' higher pricing structure. As I understood original intent of our founding fathers, and Constitutional virtuous government should strive for efficiencies, and not price gouging.

Politics and Religion

The Taboo Subjects

American's are constantly being bombarded by the phrase "Separation of Church and State", in many ways boldly, but in many more fashions ever so subtlety across society. Most Christians today acquiesce to the pressures of this phrase resulting in a tucking away of their faith from society in the arenas of politics, education, community, work, business and even the Church. Content to live in "Christian Peace" with all men, Christians chose to avoid two subjects when engaging in communication

of

Politics and Religion

As I continue looking into our American Heritage, not content with today's version of America, but looking into the past, not just the last 60-80 years but all the way back to 1720's to 1790's looking for original intent of the creators of America in relation to spiritual liberty and government; today's America is reversed from original intent. A land created to sustain the spiritual liberty of her citizens allowing unfettered faith in personal worship of our God to permeate society from the local grocery to the halls of national government; spiritually free liberty for conversation in work, education, marketplace, government, politics the church and community.

Our founding fathers, who returned from forming our national government in 1776 helped establish sovereign states from existing English Colonies. The issue of virtuous state government and spiritual liberty was so powerful the states established specific oaths of office for state leaders and legislators to preserve our Constitutional Representative Republic. Non apologetic oaths acknowledging the providence of God and faith in Him, not to sway every citizen to Christianity, that responsibility was for the Church, but have principled representatives willing to preserve liberty and restrain government to the limits of Constitutional governance.  Here are some oaths and public servant requirements that clearly indicate the original intent of Founding Fathers in creating civil government across the new America that no courts can deny, no historians can manipulate. "We the People" must take personal responsibility to KNOW truth and stand firm on such truth in conducting battles today for preserving our Constitutional Representative Republic.

Delaware 1776 public servant oath

" I, A B. do profess faith in God the Father, and in Jesus Christ His only Son, and in the Holy Ghost, one God, blessed for evermore; and I do acknowledge the holy scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be given by divine inspiration."

Maryland 1776 public servant requirement

XXXV. That no other test or qualification ought to be required, on admission to any office of trust or profit, than such oath of support and fidelity to this State, and such oath of office, as shall be directed by this Convention or the Legislature of this State, and a declaration of a belief in the Christian religion.

North Carolina 1776 public servant requirement

XXXII That no person, who shall deny the being of God or the truth of the Protestant religion, or the divine authority either of the Old or New Testaments, or who shall hold religious principles incompatible with the freedom and safety of the State, shall be capable of holding any office or place of trust or profit in the civil department within this State.

Pennsylvania 1776 public servant oath

I do believe in one God, the creator and governor of the universe, the rewarder of the good and the punisher of the wicked. And I do acknowledge the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be given by Divine inspiration.

South Carolina 1778 public servant requirement

...and that no person shall be eligible to a seat in the said Senate unless he be of the Protestant religion, and hath attained the age of thirty years, and hath been a resident in this State at least five years.

No person shall be eligible to sit in the House of Representatives unless he be of the Protestant religion, and hath been a resident in this State for three years previous to his election.

Vermont 1777 public servant oath

" I ____ do believe in one God, the Creator and Governor of the Diverse, the rewarder of the good and punisher of the wicked. And I do acknowledge the scriptures of the old and new testament to be given by divine inspiration, and own and profess the protestant religion."

Founding Father Quotes

Text from open Letter On March 28, 1787, "To the citizens of Philadelphia: A Plan for Free Schools".

"...Let the children...be carefully instructed in the principles and obligations of the Christian religion. This is the most essential part of education. The great enemy of the salvation of man, in my opinion, never invented a more effectual means of extirpating Christianity from the world than by persuading mankind that it was improper to read the Bible at schools..."

"...The only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid in religion. Without this there can be no virtue, and without virtue there can be no liberty..."

"...Let the children who are sent to those schools be taught to read and write and above all, let both sexes be carefully instructed in the principles and obligations of the Christian religion. This is the most essential part of education..."

Benjamin Rush

Founding Father

Delegate to Continental Congress

"...Direct taxation can go but little way towards raising a revenue. To raise money in this way, people must be provident; they must be constantly laying up money to answer the demands of the collector. But you cannot make people thus provident; if you would do anything to purpose you must come in when they are spending, and take a part with them. This does not take away the tools of a man's business, or the necessary utensils of this family: It only comes in when he is taking his pleasure, and feels generous..."

Oliver Ellsworth

"...Far from being rivals or enemies, religion and law are twin sisters, friends, and mutual assistants. Indeed, these two sciences run into each other. The divine law, as discovered by reason and the moral sense, forms an essential part of both..."

Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States.

Fridley redevelopment

Another Government Boondoggle

Back in 2007 Fridley Community Development with the Fridley Housing and Redevelopment Authority embarked on a bold redevelopment on a section of existing private property on the east frontage road along University from just north of 694 to 61st.  After 4 years of eminent domain, this spring Fridley will complete raising the last structures on the 144 foot wide 5.7 acre property with a taxpayer tab for $4,000,000.00.

Over the last 4 years the economic real estate environment has drastically shifted against the idealistic Fridley development planned for that property. Fridley is now reincorporating the boondoggle 2007 property development into their latest brainstorm, the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) model. The (TOD) is carving a large section of Fridley for redevelopment around the new Fridley Northstar line, requiring more eminent domain, spending and increased taxes. Fridley now intends allowing for an unspecified time for investors to step forward, develop the 2007 property development within the new idealistic (TOD) thus Fridley will recoup the $702,000.00 per acre investment. Good luck selling property for $702,000.00 an acre.

Here are the problems with the 2007 project and the now grand (TOD), 1. The city is forcing sale of private properties for personal gain of government. 2. The city is forced to provide unusual easements, special variances and other code allowances to any prospective developer just to build on the 2007 property. 3. The taxpayers are hosed for 4 million to date and how knows where this ends in the next decade or more. 4. Local government has no business directly competing against the private market that would develop the area without aid if afforded access, and not competing with government.

The final thought is this kind of local unit of government spending is systemic of cities and counties across the state of Minnesota, confiscating untold amounts of taxpayer prosperity on risky investments by elected officials who, for many, have little or no development experience; then use the power of government to force redevelopment.

Law Trumps Our Constitution?

The American Community Survey

On Tuesday afternoon 4/26/11 a supervisor for the Census Bureau visited our home. She indicated her intention on completing the long form "American Community Survey" with me. I reiterated to her as previously to others from her Federal Government agency I would only answer the Constitutional authorized questions of how many people live here and our address. She explained Congress decided the 10 year constitutional enumeration was no longer adequate for targeting all the federal handouts and this survey was required to provide critical information to federal government agencies; complete anonymity is assured as "NO" other government agency will be able to connect my responses and my identity.

She assured me only a couple minutes are needed and I gave permission to enter after she requested a location to sit and use her laptop. Immediately she started asking me the long form questions of name, age and so on. I repeatedly responded with "no comment" to the continually intrusive question that violated several privacy rights. She started making intimidating comments insinuating my "Refusal" to comply was in violation of United States law and subject to penalties. Additionally she mentioned my lack of cooperation was disenfranchising community members and neighbors in the area from receiving their "rightfully" owed Federal Dollars of support.

Finally after 25 minutes she resigned herself that I would only answer "No Comment" to her long form census questions. Commented she doubts this survey will be accepted as complete and finished the survey using her only option of "Refused".

Then a strange occurrence happened when we finished the survey. I confronted her on the assumption the Federal Government has any money to hand out using the "American Community Survey" to establish need; considering a $1.6 trillion shortfall in federal government balance sheet this fiscal year alone. We actually spent 10 minutes discussing federal spending, Republican and Democrat public policies and spending, federal debt, social programs and the end game of financial ruin. She actually became fearful when we discussed the end result of federal spending and debt especially over the last 40 years.

The upside of this experience is I had an incredible opportunity to challenge a life long federal employee who acknowledged financially America is doomed without drastic change in monitory and spending policy. We are not going to be pen pals any time soon but we had a real discussion on liberty and America's Constitutional Representative Republic.

The down side is I expect a fine in the mail soon, but wait a minute; there is no linkable information between me and the survey, sure.

Freedom of Expression

Terminal one Airport

On April 28, 2011, as I conducted unrelated travel business at Terminal 1 (Main Airport) in Bloomington I discovered an empty counter stating "freedom of Expression contact us for further information". I did call and discovered a great opportunity for disseminating information to the public, or other uses like collecting petitions for referendum. The airport provides a public location for various groups to reach travelers for free.

In discussing this concept with CCCR-Education members we see a great chance to inform Americans of Constitutional Government. We can develop and have printed a related literature piece filled with internet links, and other information travelers could take on trips. Perhaps with extra time might read and visit the links provided.

As usual we need donations. Keeping Constant Contact working, participating in parades, gathering data and information, developing a literature piece for the Airport all cost money and are part of our 2011 efforts. Please take a moment today and make a generous contribution to our efforts to educate people by clicking the PayPal link on this Newsletter.

A last thought, we should have the liberty to mingle with travelers without permitting by virtue the location is public setting.

Winsome Lark Doing Damage

Contributing Writer Wes Wiggins

The winsome lark of whimsy has no place in civil government, for it leads to the thoughtless vacuum of emotionality, unbound by morality or of mental constraint. And it, more often than not, leads to the careless initiation of force and fraud and addiction thereof. Whim, this harbinger of slavery and destruction is no more of a higher mind than a tsunami, but done in the name of that higher mind, by what used to be human beings before evil's tutelage and influence lobotomized their minds, reducing them to ridiculous caricatures of human form, good intentioned or not.

Those doing irreparable damage to their character and reputation, and doing the same to others deserve neither respect nor quarter. Lying to enslave, is an example of this.  The part that really gets me is they think they are doing good things.  And these thugs would vehemently deny they enslave, but actually free people from the responsibility of making their own choices. Those who support this evil brand believe that it is those of us that believe in liberty and creation who are the wrong doers. But, are the real evil doers the ones who steal or the ones who create?

Enter the Democrat/RINO with his inglorious delusions, ill projections, and visions of grandeur; failing to understand the most basic tenet that sets America apart from every other country in the history of the world, Liberty. Repulsive and sad are words that come to mind. It is too bad really, as if there isn't enough real suffering in the world. Totalists have to make up stuff to destroy or maim humanity, all for the worship of power their god, through the organ of their church the government. And they are hardly alone in the world.

So very much of what is being done by our dubious legislator's falls into this arena and is contrary to the quality of what our Founders did in the same. The standard is set high for reasons of virtue and success, which void anything less.

I, with regard to citizens of our Republic, do work and pray that love of righteousness prevail and turn back the corrupt hoards of whim and power addiction that bring rot and  to our shores, our homes, and to our very minds.

Supporting Liberty

The latest economic reports are released this week, first time unemployment claims jumped an unexpected 30,000 last week, the first quarter GDP for America dropped to 1.9% annual rate, Ben Bernanke (the Federal Reserve Chairman) held the first Federal Reserve news conference in their 97 year history on Thursday. As Ben spoke gold shot up to another record and silver hit $49.00 an ounce, housing prices are still slumping, and motor fuel prices are going over $4.00 a gallon all across the country.

All this uncertain economic activity and news this week, yet we are told all is well; inflation is in check and just keep spending. We at CCCR-Education know otherwise and the economic recovery is sputtering at best and collapsing at worst. The needs of organizations across the country for donations and support are overwhelming. We at CCCR-Education also have need, recognize some people are struggling, some folks are doing ok and some are not impacted by the economic environment. We appreciate every donation given and work hard to stretch the revenue to maximize effect. Perhaps you would consider making a donation today, so we can continue educating citizens on American history, political events, participation in government and planning for the 2012 elections.
