Precious Lives!

These sweet babies are a handful of the little ones born in 2012.  Your faithful support has given these babies so much--from empowered mothers to baby supplies to beds and, in many cases, life!

Remembering Roe

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.  In the years since that Supreme Court decision, 54+ million babies have lost their lives through legal abortion.  Together we can stand against this holocaust to defend life and offer support to women considering abortion.
Please Welcome...

Our New Nurse:
Marcia Stang

Our New Volunteer:

Want to volunteer?  Check out the volunteer opportunities on our website and contact us!
We will miss
Linda Beyer, who has served faithfully overseeing the thrift store and putting together beautiful layettes for 10 years.   Helen Krentz will be stepping in to organize and oversee the thrift store.
Special Needs
Last year we gave away beds and carseats to young parents who had completed Parenting Classes and Earn While You Learn programs with perfect attendance.  Because these prizes are so helpful to many parents, we would love to be able to continue to offer them!  If you would like to donate toward the baby beds and carseats, please contact the office!

Behold, New Things Have Come
All around the world, millions of people have made New Year's resolutions--goals for personal improvement or change.  Most of them will quickly be broken and pass into the hall of horrors known as "failure."  The concept of starting fresh, becoming new, and growing is rooted deep within us as a powerful hungering for our Creator.

In 1 Corinthians 5:17, the apostle Paul wrote "If any man is in Christ, He is a new creature.  The old has passed away, behold new things have come."  He wrote to a church laden down with baggage and histories of failure.  As fallen creatures, we have the opportunity to be recreated--to be new.  This promise holds so much hope and it is a principle we have the privilege to share.  In Christ there is unlimited possibility for new things--forgiveness from a past abortion, courage to give life, strength to pursue purity, conviction to honor parents, love for those who have wronged us, and certainty of a day when all will be new.

The power for new things comes from Christ.

Director's Message
Christy Renfroe, Executive Director

As we enter into 2013 with excitement and expectation, I am so thankful that my

God is ABLE to accomplish more than we might ask or think!  He desires to see us blessed in all that we do, prosperous in every endeavor, and seeking wisdom through every decision.

One of my favorite verses of scripture comes from Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and He shall direct thy paths."

But how do we trust Him? How do we go after our future while we lean on His understanding?  The answer is simple: faith.  Faith is all about taking a risk and letting God work in His timeline and not our own.  In my experience, following one failure or another, it becomes easy to place limits on life.  This allows failure to box us in and convince us that we can't move on.  Being confined by circumstances and bound by past failures limits God's vision for our future.  There is no better time than now to begin anew, break away from the old, and trust the Lord with 2013.

I trust that God has abundant vision for all of our futures; my future, your future, and the futures of countless families that walk through our doors.

Our prayer for you in 2013 is that you grow in trust and have an abundance of faith as you live in the vision that God is faithfully leading you through.

The vision of Choices PRC is saving lives and changing futures.  I would also like to invite you to join my family as we celebrate life and honor all of the 55 million lives lost through abortion in the past 40 years.  We will be walking in the March for Life on January 20th, behind the State Capitol in Little Rock.  At 2:00 p.m., thousands of Arkansans will gather and march from West to East on West Capitol between Battery and Wolfe Streets.  A short program will follow the march on the front steps of the Capitol Building.  This event offers all of us the opportunity to participate in a powerful time of prayer and remembrance as we continually renew our passion for saving unborn babies.  Hopefully we will see you there!

New Things HAVE Come
This year's new things include a change in the faces in our office.  After serving as our Administrative Assistant for 3 years, April Shaver will be getting married in the spring.  We are rejoicing with her as she begins this new season!  She has had a special touch on the clinic, keeping us organized, on schedule, and smiling with her sweet sticky-notes and reminders.  We are thankful that she will still be working with the Fundraising Dinner and volunteering!

We welcome Marci Aboul-Zelof, our new administrative assistant and a sweet sister in the Lord.  Marci and her husband, Marwan, live here in Russellville.  Marci began volunteering last year and soon demonstrated that she is an excellent fit for our office.  Her heart for ministry and evangelism are inspiring and we are excited to grow with her as we continue into the new year!
A Client's Story
She was set on abortion when she came in.  She left still undecided.  "I have a lot to think about," she wrote on her exit form. The abortion procedures had come as a surprise to her.  When she came back for an ultrasound a few days later, she greeted me in the waiting room with a huge smile and a new choice.  "We decided to give this baby life."  Your faithful support provides a new way of looking at a situation, the options, and the life within.  And so often, that new perspective results in a new choice.
