We have a lot of people asking for the tax id number so the church can opt out of paying sales tax. Please note that churches are not exempt
from ever paying sales tax for good or services because we are a non-profit so please make sure you pay sales tax on all items purchased.
NEW HIRES
A slightly new format under the human resources tab of the website has been established for New Hires . We added the New Hire Tab which contains the new hire checklist, welcome letter, and all the forms that need to be filled out to complete the new hire process.
EMAIL HACKER PROTECTION
Over the past year we've been experiencing a high level of hacker attacks on our banking and email accounts and we are in the process of working with certain agencies to track who is doing the attacks. In the meantime to protect our email accounts and data users will be required to set up and use the two step verification process and have it activated by
Jan 1st
. We will be sending you instructions in the next few weeks to help you set this up. If you're familiar with your ctkonline email and the security process and feel comfortable setting up it I encourage you to take the steps to set it up. All accounts that aren't set to the two step verification process will automatically become inactive and you won't be able to gain access to your email. This is Googles protection policy for mandatory two step verification and something we can't control from our end. We won't be able to retain your emails or data once the mandatory process goes into effect or access your account so please make sure your active in taking care of the security to your email account.
