Greetings!

Hope all of our mommies enjoyed Mother's Day!  I would have to say that for me Saturday felt more like Mother's Day - I spent the day working in the yard watching my girlies climb trees, play soccer, skip, swing, roast marshmallows on a campfire ... and get really dirty!  That's what it's about - enjoying your children!

Blog Challenge!

Are you keeping up with our blog?  Our first Blog Challenge  is well underway!  We are updating projects to our daily blog as they are sent to us - if sending your entry to us causes you any stress please drop into the store or get in touch with us.

Here's the run down on our Blog Challenge...

You are to create a project based on the inspiration we have presented to you on our Blog site.  This project can be of any size, style or technique provided that you also include the required "inspiration".  Your project is to be completed within a two week window and are due by 5:00pm on Monday May 16th.  To enter your project in our challenge simply email a photo of it - or if this technology is a bit overwhelming just drop into the store with your project and we'll take a photo for you!

This isn't just a challenge for the fun of it - there's a prize for our random winner!

Your project inspiration...you have to visit our Blog for that!

  Making Your Own Envelopes

In a few of our latest card classes we have also been making our own envelopes.  Our tool of choice for this task is the EK Success - Martha Stewart Score Board.  Not only does this tool have 1/8" scoring increments, it also features an envelope tool.

However, many of our customers have in their stash the Scor-Pal Scoring Board.  As she has been surfing the web Lilian has found step-by-step instructions to help you customize your own envelopes using the Scor-Pal.
