      Today's the day - the start of another month!  When we were little my parents taught us to say..... "pinch and a punch, it's the first of the month".  And, if you were the unfortunate one to be pinched, it wasn't all bad because the second half was "pinch and a kick, for being so quick".  Well, my Emily seems to have an internal clock and never misses the first of the month so today there are likely three from my house with bruised arms ... and Emily might be tender too!

Spring Mega Crop Weekend

     As always, we like to subtly give you a little bit of notice that registration for our Crop Weekend will soon begin. (although it wouldn't be very subtle to tell you that it will be tomorrow ... Wednesday actually)  Hopefully by now you have cleared your calendar, booked time off work and anounced to your family and friends that you will be unavailable due to a full 27 hours of scrapbooking!
 
Cropping Times; Friday 7pm to 11pm
                              Saturday 8am to midnight
                              Sunday 8am to approx. 3pm

Includes;  light snacks
                  lunch on Sat. & Sun.
                  Saturday dinner
                  make-and-take projects
                  layout challenges and prizes
                  on-site shopping
                  use of select stamps
                  use of Silhouette cutting machine
                  use of computer/printer for journaling
                  lots of inspiration and laughs with other scrapbook addicts!

     The first fifteen scrappers to register (which includes making payment) will receive a coupon for $20 off their purchases during the Mega Crop Weekend!

     Warning:  we feel it only fair to let you know in advance that the Early Bird Special for our last weekend was sold out by about 9:05am by the ladies lined up at the door!  We feel it to be most fair to register first those who are here in the store, then by phone and finally by email.
As always, payment will be due at the time of registration.

Spring Card Making Day
  
     If you haven't already registered then call today - there are only two spaces left! 
  
     Join us to complete 10 to 12 quick and easy cards that you can either use or add to your reference library as samples for your next birthday, anniversary or just because event.  All paper supplies are included in your class fee but you will be required to bring your basic tool kit and lots of enthusiasm.

       Join us for an evening of crafting; scrapbooking, paper crafting, jewelry making, a missed class, unfinished projects, or something you've seen on display in the store!

      We offer a small project each night including either a scrapbook layout or cards ... and the best part ... there is no additional cost!
 
 Arrive at 7pm and leave early or join us later on and head home at midnight.

     Spring arrived early in our store!  If you've been keeping up with our blog posts you will have already heard about the surprise we received last week.  As usual, I arrive at our Thursday card classes just in time as I switch roles from "dance mom" to crafter.  In the rush of the first few minutes of class neither Lilian and I noticed a beautiful chrysanthemum on our front counter!  It would seem that this spring yellow plant must have been intended for us since no one claimed it as they left from class.  However, we don't know who to thank ... so this is our Thank You to whoever the very thoughtful crafter is!
