Greetings!

Lilian's been posting like crazy! We had a great card class last Thursday followed up by a fantastic card day on Saturday. She may be on holiday but Lilian put in some time before she left updating our Blog and our Flickr site ... be sure to check out all of these cards as well as a couple of layouts I'll be posting later this week!

Spring Mega Crop Weekend

If you are joining us for our scrapbooking weekend then hopefully you are already starting to get organized. It's great to plan a weekend of scrapping for yourself but you'll be much more successful, and satisified, if you also plan what layouts you will work on. A few minutes each day can make a huge difference!

Take the time to sort through your photos at home ... this doesn't mean bringing out all of your equipment so this isn't such an overwhelming task. Simply choose the photos you would like to scrap and organize them into groups of six to ten photos that will work together on a layout (four to six photos for a one-page layout).

The next step is to plan the layout ... if you were sewing or knitting you would work from a pattern so why not leave the scrapbooking layout to the experts too. Our favourite resource for layouts if PageMaps - Click HERE to visit Becky Fleck's website and download all of her layout sketches/patterns free! Choose a layout that works with the number of photos in your grouping and all you have left to do is choose coordinating papers according to the sketch.

Tuck these little kits away and you'll find you are far more successful in what you accomplish at the Crop Weekend!

Spring Card Making Day

What a great card making day we had this past Saturday! We put the pressure on right from the beginning on Saturday morning by telling the lsadies that they had to work like they only had one hour left ... it's amazing the difference pressure can make to the speed we work at! There certainly wasn't a prize for the fastest but two of our ladies worked very well together and had completed all ten of their cards by 1:30pm!

Crop 'n Craft 'til Midnight

Join us for an evening of crafting; scrapbooking, paper crafting, jewelry making, a missed class, unfinished projects, or something you've seen on display in the store!

We offer a small project each night including either a scrapbook layout or cards ... and the best part ... there is no additional cost!

Arrive at 7pm and leave early or join us later on and head home at midnight.
