Sunday Funday is Back!

After a hiatus of nine years, the Duplex will kick-start Sunday brunch on October 23. We will post our menu online at www.duplexdiner.com when we launch our website this Thursday. In addition to traditional breakfast classics like French Toast and Eggs Benedict, we will be offering the option of egg white omelets for those of you who are watching your waistlines. We will also have new drink specials including Champagne cocktails and Bloody Marys for a ridiculously low price. Sunday brunch will be served from 11am 'til 3pm.

Why anyone would stop drinking at 3pm is beyond us, so after brunch we will stay open ALL DAY and our drink specials will extend through the evening.
Miss Adams Morgan

For those of you who were unable to attend, the Miss Adams Morgan Pageant and Duplex Post Party were a blast! After spending some time cleaning our sidewalk from the excess glitter, feathers and wigs (and nursing our hangovers), we want to thank everyone who came out. Join us in congratulating Terry Yaki, our new Miss Adams Morgan Queen. We've created a Hawaiian-themed cocktail in honor of HRH complete with parasol. It's sure to delay the winter blues.
Meatloaf Monday Throwdown

This Monday, October 24, the Duplex will be having a Meatloaf Monday Throwdown where you vote and pick the winner. Chef Mark believes he can make a better meatloaf than the classic Duplex meatloaf. Still at half-price, anyone who orders a meatloaf entrée, will receive both versions. After your meal, you vote and the winner of the evening makes the permanent menu.

If meatloaf isn't your thing, our traditional Monday night specials continue, and we are offering more "M" items than ever in addition to our Meatloaf: Mac & Cheese, Margaritas, Mussels, Merlot and our fantastic Malbec wine are all half-off (by the glass and bottle) on Monday nights only.

Fall/Winter Menu

After getting a lot of feedback from all of you, we have added some cooler weather favorites to our menu. There's a Bistro Steak Salad for those craving another entree-sized salad, as well as Chicken Pot Pie and Braised Short Ribs with Butternut Squash Risotto. Our chef Mark is working hard to create more specials for the upcoming months, and he'll reveal his final Fall/Winter menu later this month.
