Dear Friends,

2014 American Equine Summit a Success!

On Saturday, April 26th and Sunday, April 27th, we presented the 2014 American Equine Summit in the Humane Education Center at Equine Advocates Rescue & Sanctuary in Chatham, NY.  There was not an empty seat in the house as the Summit opened with an electrifying and rousing Keynote Address by veteran television news journalist and best-selling author, Jane Velez-Mitchell. The two-day Summit brought together experts from across North America focusing on ending the slaughter of wild and domestic equines, as well as other vital equine issues.

We are pleased to share with you videos from the Summit. The information shared by our distinguished expert speakers provides a better understanding as to why the horrific practice of horse slaughter needs to end now, why our government is allowing for the brutal round-ups of our precious wild horse & burro herds from our public lands and why the heinous PMU (pregnant mare urine) industry, once primarily in Canada, is now big business in China and third-world countries where pregnant mares live in deplorable conditions and they and their offspring end up at slaughter.

Please spread the word by sharing these on your Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn pages as well as your Websites & Blogs.

Thank you.
