I have had the utmost pleasure of riding with Stealaway Farm this past year. I came to Angela and Mandy with the need for guidance in 3 areas - I needed help bringing along my young horses, I needed help with deciding which of the young horses were the right match for me and wanted to be a better rider, .
Their philosophy, simple things done well, works at every level. Their gentle, effective riding has been wonderful to watch with my young horses. They are patient and clear about what the horse needs to understand. They make sure the first step is understood and done well before moving on to the next step. I see huge improvements every month. And the horses are happy doing what is asked of them.
The horses are never rushed or expected to something beyond their level of education. It is wonderful to see. I have a lovely young mare that I was having some problems with and had Stealaway work with her and have been thrilled with her progress.
They have helped me sell the ones that were not a good match for me to wonderful homes and good people.
Angela and Mandy make a great team. They are very knowledgeable and work together to bring horses and clients along. There are always a pair of eyes on the ground. They both ride all the horses and are constantly evaluating the progress of the horses, and of the riders. Their instruction in my lessons is clear, uncomplicated and right to the point. They took the time to watch my riding at a few shows to see where I needed the most help before focusing in on my issues. And they are carefully and slowly helping me fill in the blanks and encouraging me without overwhelming me or my horses.
They are kind, patient people with a passion for horses and animals and I feel like I am among true kindred spirits. And for me, the icing on this cake is I am having so much fun!!
