Moving a marketplace: May 15 chapter meeting
Joint meeting with Exit Planning Institute and Alliance of Professional Associations
According to the keynote speaker at our May chapter meeting, “doing nothing” is the greatest opponent many advisors face when it comes to growing their business.

Exit planning is the fastest growing marketplace within the financial and professional services industry, and Scott Snider says now is the time to develop a strategy.

During this month’s chapter meeting on May 15, 2:30-5 p.m., in Golden Valley, Snider, vice president of Exit Planning Institute and operating partner of Snider Premier Growth, will talk about how to develop an integrated owner engagement strategy, calculate your firm’s opportunities, and more. Scott is a nationally recognized leader and lifetime entrepreneur, starting his first company at the age of 17 and later selling it to a strategic buyer at 24 (his first “exit”). Make sure to join us for this great presentation!

Following the meeting, there will be a networking social until 6:30 p.m.

Symposium Speaker Spotlight: Michael Kitces
Leading up to our 2018 Symposium this fall, we highlight one speaker each month
Join us at this year's Symposium to hear from our keynote speaker, Michael Kitces , on the future of financial planning in the digital age.

According to Kitces, financial planning has been slow to effectively adopt emerging digital age technologies. In this session, he will explore how financial planning will undergo radical change in the coming decades, from financial planning "apps," to what technology will - and won't - replace in the financial planning relationship, to how financial planning practices must market and communicate in order to survive and thrive.

The 2018 Symposium is October 8-9. Click here to learn more and register .
