Chipotle Chef at Market Demos

This week continues our Chipotle Chef at Market fresh tomato salsa demos at various FRESHFARM Markets. Chipotle will be distributing 200 "Token Tastes"(worth $5 each) at each market to encourage customers to buy new produce or products from their favorite farmers and producers. The tokens will be available at the Chipotle tent at each market. Here's the demo schedule: 

 

Tuesday, June 12 - Crystal City  

Wednesday, June 13 - Foggy Bottom  

Thursday, June 14 - by the White House 

Saturday, June 16 - Silver Spring 

Ballston FRESHFARM Market to Open Thursday, June 28

 

NOTE: The opening day of the Ballston FRESHFARM Market has been rescheduled from June 21 to Thursday, June 28. General information is below:   

 

Location: Welburn Square at 901 N. Taylor Street. Across the street from the Ballston Metro. 

 

Hours: Thursdays from 3:00pm - 7:00pm

 

Farmers and Producers: Confirmed participants include Capitol Kettle Corn, Evergrain Bread Company, Garden Path Farm, Mickleys Orchard and Farm Market, Pleitez Produce, Shells Yes! Crab Cake Company, The Farms at Ellis Bay, and Wild Rose Soap Company. Stay tuned for additional information. 

FRESHFARM Markets Seeks New Office Space


Know of any great office spaces in downtown DC? FRESHFARM Markets is looking for a new office (between 1800-2200 square feet). We are willing to pay $25-$35 per square foot and must move by July 31! Contact Maddy at info@freshfarmmarkets.org with any leads.

Market Tour: 11:30am- 12:30pm: Tour the FRESHFARM Market by the White House and select your fresh ingredients for dinner.

 

Class & Dinner: 6pm - 8:00pm: Cooking lesson and casually feast on your creations at Todd Gray's Muse at the Corcoran Gallery of Art.

 

Price: $40 per person. Plus tax & gratuity. Market ingredients will be purchased by the guest. Happy hour beverage prices will be available.
