Dear Church Family,
I hope you've had a good summer with opportunity to reflect, if not relax. We've certainly enjoyed God's blessings in worship overflowing into missions, both near and far. Thank you for your deep commitment to the Lord and His glorious gospel!

While it may seem in the middle of the summer
a bit premature to highlight events in the fall, nevertheless, I'd like to recommend your attendance at all or part of a free conference to be held at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, October 26 - 28th.

The "Reformation Celebration Conference," is on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, and is open to all. Given the profound Church and history shaping nature of the Protestant Reformation, the opportunity to attend a conference of this significance, with its many stimulating and enriching lectures, is a privilege right on our doorstep. In addition, the conference features more than a few members of FCCH as speakers!

Many blessings to you,
Pastor Dori

Ohio University Visit

For each of the past three years alumni from Ohio University have visited FCCH to discover and explore sites related to Manasseh Cutler. Dr. Cutler was instrumental in arranging the land grant in the Northwest Territories for the founding of a university.

Below is a picture of our recent Ohio University visitors who placed flowers on the grave of Manasseh Cutler. We are grateful for their continued interest in our church, its preeminent pastor from the 18th century, and our role in the formation of their school.

Children's Ministry

We're Halfway There!
Please pray with us as Children's Ministries seeks adults and youth that want to serve in our children's classrooms. We have openings in both teaching and assistant roles. We thoughtfully put together teams of three or more in each classroom. On a given Sunday we have 45-50 people serving our families through Children's Ministries.
Current areas of need:
Nursery
Toddler Room
Preschool
God's House (8:30 service)
Kindergarten
1st Grade
3rd Grade
5th Grade

Be a part of helping children understand the awe and power of God, challenge them to get to know Him more deeply, and serve Him daily. Fall Kick-Off Sunday is September 10 !
