DVD of the Week
This week's DVD of the Week is 'The Sense of an Ending.'
A lighter, but still impactful rendition of the novel by Julian Barnes, 'The Sense of an Ending' explores the experiences of an aged man who has been ignorant of missed opportunities in his past. As he is forced to come to terms with lost love and life long mysteries, his quiet and comfortable life is turned on its head. Driven by a well-performed lead.

The Summer Reading Programs are almost complete! The last raffles are being drawn, children are scrambling to get their last prizes, and thousands of books have been read across all ages. Thank you to the Friends of the Gilford Public Library for sponsoring yet another successful Summer Reading Program.

We hope you had as much fun as we did. We are already buzzing with ideas for next summer, but there are plenty of books to read and programs to attend between now and then. Here's to another great summer and to the seasons to come.
