Supporting financial literacy growth.

We're one week into the Fall Product Sale. Early indicators for magazines indicate the girl's sales are about 20% ahead of last year. Very EXCITING!

The Fall Product Sale, together with the Girl Scout Cookie Sale, offer great hands-on learning experiences for your Girl Scout. Working together with her troop, a girl learns 5 skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. She learns to earn money to pay for her activities, including educational programs and service activities.

We encourage you to support your girl's learning by...
Asking her questions.
Listen.
Never doing things for her she can do
for herself.
Talking to her about what she learned
each day.
Having fun with her!

Family Updates | Fall Fun For Girl Scouts!

Take a moment to check out a "She and I" event for girls in grades K-5 near Duluth October 27-28th. Today, October 15, this the last day to register! Another fall program for girls in 4th grade and older is coming up November 3. An excellent college exploration program -check them both out!

Robo Girls | Bemidji State University

Grades 6-12 | November 9-10 | $45 girl / $10 adult

NEW! Along with Friday night activities at the Rec Center (like swimming and the climbing wall), girls will also take part in a dance workshop by a local instructor. The dance YOU CREATE will be incorporated into Saturday's explorations of robotics as well as technology, art and design. How fun to program a robot to do a dance that you created!

Join our staff team!

We currently have a seasonal part time opening for a Girl Scouts in ACTION Coordinator. This position is responsible for quality delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience by working directly with schools and volunteers to coordinate a 6 week after-school Girl Scout Journey series culminating with a related Take Action event/project.

We are still hiring for this position in the following communities: Duluth/Superior, Brainerd, Willmar, and Bemidji.

We encourage current volunteers and family members to visit our website and learn more about this temporary part-time employment opportunity.
