Dear Girl Scout Family,
Welcome new members!
Every year we welcome more than 2,500 new girls, volunteers, and of course, their families.
This past week I stopped by the office just as a new New Leader Orientation & Training was ending. There were 5 people standing near the door and I watched their animated discussion for several minutes. They were so excited to begin the Girl Scout adventures!
I smiled as I was reminded that new members bring new ideas and excitement into our sisterhood. This diversity helps us grow a strong and vibrant organization. Please join me in reaching out a helping hand to new members. Watch to see they're engaged in conversations and activities. Encourage them to get involved. Catch some of their enthusiasm.
Thank you for choosing to be part of Girl Scouting!
