E-Weekly Header
April 1, 2013

Dear Girl Scout Family,

I'll admit it. Large gatherings of Girl Scouts make my eyes mist a little bit. It's that part about Girl Scouts being a Movement, something larger than each of us.

Girls get a taste of what it's like to come together as a Girl Scout Movement in many ways right in their home community, such as ...
  • doing a Thinking Day project,
  • participating in the Flag Ceremony at Court of Awards, or
  • singing songs at day camp.
Our council also offers opportunities to amplify the feeling of being part of a Movement through summer camp, program events, and travel.

Today the Our World, Our Family Registration Packet was released. This September camping weekend draws together more than 1,000 girls and adults and is by far our council's most popular single event. There's more than 60 sessions to choose -- from art to science, fitness to history.

If you've never attended Our World, Our Family or the other council sponsored events or camp, I encourage you to go right now to our website and check out the options. We have something fun for every girl.

Have a great week!

Tauna
