Dear Girl Scout Family
Thank you to everyone who participated in Jump Start, our council's online membership registration program.
Based on your feedback (and from adults around the nation whose councils are also participating), we have been making improvements to the online membership registration. Below this article, you can take a look at some of the improvements coming in the next few months.
Online membership registration was a benchmark for our council in offering online registration for all council programs, camps, and membership. Over the coming membership year we'll be continuing to implement online registration which will ultimately improve our services to you.
Our goal is to keep you updated every step of the way. We're glad you've chosen to be a Girl Scout family!

Online Registration Upgrades
By the end of 2013, you will notice the following upgrades:
For Troop Leaders (01 position code):
- View council programs, camp, and membership information for every girl in their troop.
- Update meeting dates/locations online instead of having to process through the Girl Scout office.
Girl Scout Families:
- Register and update contact information for every member of the family with one account.
- View family registrations for council sponsored programs, camp, and membership.
As a result of these changes, we will be asking adults (both parent/guardians and volunteers) to re-create a new username and password in the next few weeks. More information will be forthcoming.
If you have questions or need assistance, please contact our helpdesk.

NEW! Gluten Free Cookie Pilot Program
How many times has a customer asked the girls in your troop, "Do you have gluten free cookies?" Now, for the first time ever, if chosen to participate in the pilot program, the girls in your troop can proudly say, "Yes, we do offer gluten free cookies!"
Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines has agreed to participate in the ABC Baker pilot program to test a gluten free cookie during the 2014 cookie program. A select number of troops with previous direct cookie sale experience will have the opportunity to sell the Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookie!
Troops must meet criteria and apply to participate. If your troop is interested, please visit http://gslakesandpines.org/pages/CookiesforVolunteers/.
