Highland Street Foundation is excited to team up with the New England Revolution to provide opportunities for local youth and families to enjoy America's fastest growing sport!
Highland Headers will join a series of programs including Highland Hitters, in partnership with the Boston Red Sox; Highland Hat Tricks in partnership with the Boston Bruins; and Highland Hoops, in partnership with the Boston Celtics.
Similar to these programs, nonprofit organizations who participate will receive tickets to a game, food vouchers and customized t-shirts and giveaways.
We look forward to cheering on the New England Revolution this season!

Fundraising Professional Offers Strategic Advice

On February 14, Highland Street hosted a seminar for nonprofit organizations on the Key Principles of Fundraising. Karyn Wilson, KW Consulting, shared her thoughts and expertise on the elements necessary to be a successful fundraiser. Karyn emphasized the importance of building relationships with potential supporters.

Home Funders, a partnership of private investors committed to creating affordable housing opportunities for extremely low-income families, hosted a housing forum on February 7th. More than 200 community leaders, housing advocates, philanthropists and elected officials were in attendance to discuss strategies for housing Massachusetts' most vulnerable families.
US Department of Housing and Urban Development Assistant Secretary Mercedes Marquez spoke about HUD's growing commitment to responding to local needs. She was impressed with Home Funders' unique approach to addressing family homelessness through permanent housing and a strong public private partnership.

Red Sox Ticket Contest

As an extension of the Highland Hitters program, Highland Street will once again host a Red Sox Ticket Giveaway for nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts. Individuals can nominate their favorite nonprofit to be entered into a contest to win tickets.
